On Sunday, May 27, in lieu of regular services, we will enjoy a day of fellowship at the Mint Hill Fairview Park! Grab your frisbees, blankets, and lunch and join us from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Our park day last year was a great time to get to know people better and to meet new people. See you there!
The Mint Hill Fairview Park is located right off 485 on Fairview – 8850 Fairview Road, Mint Hill, 28227.
Piney Grove Elementary is a Title 1 school in our area where more than 81% of the students are on free or reduced lunch. We have partnered with Piney Grove in the past to work on cleaning up the grounds, provide backpacks and school supplies, and make Christmas happen for some families in extraordinary situations. This Saturday, April 21st from 10:00am to 1:00pm we will be joining the PTA and boyscouts to clean up the property, paint, and spread mulch. Yard tools and painting supplies are needed. Bring your whole family and serve together!
APRIL 1 – WINDS OF CHANGE – with Chris Brown
When we are in middle school, we can’t wait for high school. In high school we can’t wait for college. In college we can’t wait for the real world where we’ll make the big bucks. Once we get a real job, we dream and stress about retirement, and if we aren’t careful our lives can be so consumed with what’s next that we forget to celebrate where we’ve been and enjoy where we are. Dreaming is crucial, but remembering brings synergy to those dreams. Join us for an amazing celebration of what God has done, is doing, and will do through the people of Ridge Church as we embrace the “winds of change”. At 9:30 and 11:00am.
APRIL 8 – EASTER
The Easter story hinged on two unlikely characters, Nick and Joe. These two men’s actions allowed first century Christians, and eventually us today, to be confident in Christ’s resurrection. Join us for a special Easter service on Sunday, April 8th at 9:30am and 11:00am.
